Literal, followable behavioral instructions — the difference between an app that takes "when narrating, use 3rd person" as a rule and one that treats it as a suggestion the model drifts away from after a few exchanges.
Regenerate, rewind, edit, or switch models mid-scene — the tools that let you fix a reply that broke character or tone without abandoning the whole conversation and starting over.
