These reviews were compiled during a read-only research pass in July 2026: vendor documentation and pricing pages first, then independent review coverage, then reported community sentiment. We did not run a paid subscription on every product in this pass, and we are not going to write as though we did. Where a claim comes from a single review site rather than the vendor or multiple sources, it is marked Reported and phrased as a report.
Verified means it comes from the vendor’s own documentation, or two or more independent sources agree. Reported means one plausible source said it and we could not confirm it in-product. Contested means sources disagree — usually because the product changed — and in those cases the disagreement itself is the finding, so we print the range instead of picking a winner.
Anything we could not confirm is omitted rather than asserted. One concrete example: an earlier brief described a “gems” currency on one of these platforms. We could not find it in any 2025–2026 source — the earn currency is consistently called coins or credits — so it does not appear anywhere on this site. A confident wrong detail is worse than a gap.
In this category the two are close to inversely correlated. One product carries a 4.3-out-of-5 editorial average against roughly 2.1 on Trustpilot; another 4.1 against roughly 2.2.
